FAIRFIELD BEACH RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION (FBRA)
LOGO DESIGN
Client: Fairfield Beach Residents Association (FBRA)
Scope: Logo Design, Brand Guidelines, Print Collateral
During my senior year at Fairfield University, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Fairfield Beach Residents Association (FBRA)—a longstanding nonprofit organization that advocates for the local coastal community through government representation, safety initiatives, and environmental preservation.
FBRA had not updated its branding in over 50 years. I worked closely with the Board of Directors to lead a full visual rebrand, including a new logo, brand guidelines, and updated collateral to help modernize their identity and better engage members.
The design goal was to create a fresh, recognizable identity that reflected the values of the beachside community—neighborhood safety, coastal sustainability, and civic engagement—while preserving its historical roots and connection to the Long Island Sound.
The new identity was rolled out across print ads in local Fairfield magazines, yard signs, and newsletters to boost awareness and encourage resident involvement. This project not only challenged me to design with purpose but also taught me how to collaborate with community stakeholders on a mission-driven brand.
